Garapine is a 180 acre scenic rural property located in the Mary Valley, just 15 minutes south of Gympie and two hours north of Brisbane.  The Lodge is set high on the peak, overlooking the Mary River and Mary Valley. The property entrance is not far from the highway and easily accessible for buses.

A new section of the Bruce Hwy has recently opened (Nov 2017) at Kybong. For those that have been to Garapine before, please note Traveston Crossing Rd is only now accessible from what is now the Old Bruce Hwy.

Directions from the South: From the Bruce Hwy, take Exit 253 to Kybong via Mary Valley Link Rd. At the first roundabout, turn left towards Mary Valley Link Rd. At the second roundabout continue straight on to Mary Valley Link Rd. Near the end of the road just before the intersection, turn right in to Dobson Rd. At the end of this road, turn right on to Traveston Crossing Rd, go over the river and at the top of the hill, turn right in to Mountain View Rd. Garapine is located at the end of the road, around to the right. Come through the gate (the gate may be shut to keep the cows in, please shut the gate behind you) and follow the driveway all the way to the end where you will see the Lodge (about 800m). Parking is on the right of the driveway on the grass. 

Directions from the North:  From the Bruce Hwy, take Exit 263 to Kybong via Old Bruce Hwy. Follow the Old Bruce Hwy. About 2km past the Puma Service Station, turn right on to Traveston Crossing Rd. At the top of the hill, turn left in to Mountain View Rd. Garapine is located at the end of the road, around to the right. Come through the gate (the gate may be shut to keep the cows in, please shut the gate behind you) and follow the driveway all the way to the end where you will see the Lodge (about 800m). Parking is on the right of the driveway on the grass.
